Our Permanent Horses

Angel is the first pony we bought. If you don't count Nellie, she is the only pony we own so far. Above, you see the title "our permanent horses". This is because the following five are horses that are not rescued or boarded, they are ours ''till death do us part'.
Angel is a sorrel and white paint, and we do not generally use her for lessons. She has been truly a pet since she got hurt a few years ago, right around the time Tyler outgrew her. She was hospitalized after being mauled by dogs from the place she was being boarded, and had some bite marks you could fit your whole fist into, and just look at her now! She jumps 36 inches willingly, and will go higher if there's food on the other side!

Nellie is a 14.2 hand tennessee walking horse, that would be the reason that I said she could be counted as a pony above, or maybe shes a horse. It depends on her mood. She is a sorrel, legs match the rest of her and are not black. She has 4 gaits, and flies fast as the wind at her beautiful rack. To the horseman's eye, she has terrible conformation, but many think she is beautiful. She is used for lessons, she will do anything you ask of her, she'll just do it VERY VERY fast, so she is not used for beginners.

Rookie is the man of the barn. He is Tyler's baby and will never go anywhere that isn't with her. He is occaisionally used for lessons, but not often, hence the previous sentence. He is a 15.4 hand black quarter horse with four white socks. His registered name is "Rookies Playn Hookie". They called him "Romeo" when he was being trained, because he loves ladies. He's very happy with his herd of mares. We got him the very next day after Nellie, because we had wanted him for awhile

Tina is the main lesson horse, because she is probably the best. She is an AQHA registered quarter horse, and can do about any discipline, from western pleasure to show jumping.Tina is mom's Dream Horse a Palamino mare. She is the kind boss of the barn.

Meet Trooper, our newest adition to the herd. She is also a quarter horse, she was bred from barrel racers. She is a great riding horse, but  she loves to go!
